These copy Sakos rifles were sold internationally as the Dixon-Howa Golden Bear and are highly regarded. In fact, at one time Howa had an agreement with Sako to use some of the patents for the Finnbear (model 61). It's a copy of the Remington 700, with some improvements thanks to Sako (Howa made parts for Sako). As you know the one things the East can do and do very well is copy things from the West and sell the copy at a reduced price, which the Howa is.
